59th Annual HORTICULTURAL SHOW
AUGUST 24th & 25th, 2024
At the DD Davis Center at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park, Youngstown, Ohio
Free and Open to the Public!
Categories include:
Vegetables, Orientals, Fruits, Annuals
Perennials/Biennials, Dahlias, Bulbs/Tubers/Corms/Roots
Roses & Potted Plants
Participation is open to both youth and adults interested in the rewarding and enjoyable
past-time of growing plants. You do not have to be a member of GOGY to enter.
Entries to be judged must be received between 7 and 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 24th.
Late entries will be displayed but not judged.
The following awards will be given:
Sectional Awards - given to entries from each section of the competition
Best of Show Award - chosen from all sectional winners
Sweepstakes Award- determined by points – Youth only

THREE SPECIAL ENTRIES !!!
Three special entries this year will be:
The Larry Whetson Heaviest Tomato Award – based on weight,
The Boe Korody Largest Zinnia Award – based on diameter and
The Robert Voland Youth Gardeners Sweepstakes Award – determined by the total of 1 point for each blue ribbon and 5 points for each sectional ribbon .
The best entry in each of these areas will receive a $25.00 award.
